About us

This website is operated by [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME], a sole trader trading as Bloom & Beyond ("we", "us" or "our").

Website: bloombeyond.co.uk

By placing an order on our website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not place an order. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Our products

Everything we sell is crocheted by hand. Because of this, each item is slightly different, and small variations in size, shape, stitch and shade are part of its charm. We take care to show our products accurately, but colours may look a little different on your screen.

Our items are decorative handmade pieces and are not toys. Some include small parts, such as bead eyes, and they are not suitable for children under 3 years old. Please keep them away from babies and young children.

Sizes and measurements on the website are approximate. Stock is limited, and we may occasionally need to cancel an order if an item is no longer available. If that happens, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Placing an order

When you place an order, we will send you an email to confirm we have received it. This is not the same as accepting your order. Our contract with you is made when we dispatch your items and send you a dispatch email. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or if there is a pricing error. If we decline an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.

Please check your delivery address and contact details carefully before you pay. If you need to change your order, email us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help before it is dispatched.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). The price you pay is the price shown at checkout, plus any delivery charge shown before you confirm your order.

Payments are taken by Stripe. You can pay with the payment methods shown at checkout, and your payment is taken when you place your order. Your card details are entered into Stripe's secure system, and we never see or store your full card number. For more on how your information is handled, see our Privacy policy.

If a price on our website is clearly wrong, we may correct it and offer you the chance to continue at the right price or cancel for a full refund.

Delivery

£40.00 or moreFree

The order total for free delivery is the value of your items, before delivery is added.

  • We currently deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom.
  • We aim to dispatch orders within [3 to 5] working days, and delivery usually takes [2 to 4] working days after dispatch, using [Royal Mail / your courier].
  • These times are estimates, not guarantees. Busy periods such as Christmas and Valentine's Day may take a little longer.
  • Your items become your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us.

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time, please email us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] and we will look into it. If we cannot deliver because nobody is available or the address is wrong, we may contact you to arrange a new delivery, and may need to charge for the extra cost.

Cancelling and returning an order

Your 14-day right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive your items. You do not need to give us a reason.

How to cancel

Email us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] within the 14 days, with your name, your order number and the items you want to return. You can use any clear wording, such as "I would like to cancel my order."

How to return your items

  • Send the items back to us within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel.
  • Please return them unused, in the condition you received them, and carefully packed. We recommend using a tracked service, as you are responsible for items until they reach us.
  • You pay the cost of returning the items, unless they are faulty or not as described.
  • We may reduce your refund if the items have been used or damaged beyond simply checking them.

Your refund

We will refund the price of the items and the standard delivery charge you paid within 14 days of receiving the items back, or of you showing us proof that you have sent them. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, and may take a few more days to appear in your account. If you chose a more expensive delivery than our standard option, we cannot refund the extra cost.

Faulty or damaged items

We want you to be happy with what you buy. By law, items must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something you receive is faulty, damaged or not as described, please email us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] as soon as you can, with your order number and a clear photo.

  • Within 30 days of delivery, you can reject a faulty item and ask for a full refund.
  • After 30 days, we will offer to repair or replace a faulty item, or refund you if that is not possible.
  • We will pay reasonable return costs for faulty items.

This does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse. Small variations that come from the handmade nature of our products are not faults. These terms do not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Looking after your crochet

To keep your crochet looking its best, keep it away from direct heat, damp and strong sunlight. If it gets dusty or marked, gently spot clean it with a damp cloth. Please do not machine wash or tumble dry our items unless the product page says you can.

Using our website

If you create an account, please keep your login details private and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. Please do not misuse our website, try to interfere with how it works, or use it for anything unlawful. We do our best to keep the website running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free from errors.

Our content and intellectual property

The photographs, text, designs, logo and everything else on this website belong to us or are used with permission. Please do not copy, reproduce or use them for business purposes without our written permission. You are welcome to share links to our website and to post photos of your own purchases.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to take reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable, or for business losses, as we only sell to consumers for personal use.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes, courier delays, illness, or problems with the internet or payment systems. If this happens, we will tell you and do our best to deliver your order as soon as we can. If the delay is long, you may cancel and we will refund you.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, please email us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] and we will do our best to put it right. We aim to reply within 3 working days.

Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is explained in our Privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on our website on the day you placed it.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute about them, are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
